Subject: A Doctor’s Wisdom
A worried woman went to her gynecologist and said: Doctor, I have a serious problem and desperately need your help! My baby is not even 1 yr. old and I’m pregnant again. I don’t want kids so close together. So the doctor said: ‘Ok and what do you want me to do?’ She said: ‘I want you to end my pregnancy, and I’m counting on your help with this.’ The doctor thought for a little, and after some silence he said to the lady: ‘I think I have a better solution for your problem. It’s less dangerous for you too.’ She smiled, thinking that the doctor was going to accept her request. Then he continued: ‘You see, in order for you not to have to take care of 2 babies at the same time, let’s kill the one in your arms. This way, you could rest some before the other one is born. If we’re going to kill one of them, it doesn’t matter which one it is. There would be no risk for your body if you chose the one in your arms. The lady was horrified and said: ‘No doctor! How terrible! It’s a crime to kill a child! ’I agree’, the doctor replied. ‘But you seemed to be ok with it, so I thought maybe that was the best solution. The doctor smiled, realizing that he had made his point. He convinced the mom that there is no difference in killing a child that’s already been born and one that’s still in the womb. The crime is the same!

Thankful Thursday
1. Baby giggles. Philip recently became ticklish.
2. Siblings. Wyatt has enjoyed making Philip laugh. It's great to talk to my SIL, too!
3. Aprons. Sewing them. Swapping them. Wearing them. Oh my!
4. Nature. We've been doing studies with friends here and it is so enlightening. And fun!
5. Friends. Real life ones and internet ones.
6. Google. 'Nuff said.
7. Kyle. It's always good to hear from him.
8. Libraries. I have an addiction...
9. Crafts. Crochet. Knit. Sewing. And more.
10.Thom. I need to remember to act more thankful for this one sometimes.

Fulfilled Friday
1. Finished reading my novel: Loving Frank by Nancy Horan. I can't say I loved the book, but it has got me looking into Frank Lloyd Wright's architecture and it is gorgeous!!
2. Finished the neck ties for my little girls' aprons. I wish I could say I'm completely done with all sixteen, but... I guess it will be a busy weekend.
3. Spent some one on one time with my hubby. We forget to do this often. But all the babies were actually sleeping at the same time, so we got to talk in peace!
4. Spoke civilly to my mom. (Looong story.)
5. Potty trained Wyatt. I didn't accomplish this during this past week, but I am especially grateful for it today after changing four soiled diapers from Isaac.

In the interest of accountability and self fulfillment, I'd like to begin listing five accomplishments of the week on Fridays.

2. Went to the zoo.
3. Got up the courage to meet new friends on Monday.
4. Got my exercise in on three days.
5. Sent off my Swap Meet 66 item.
