Thankful Thursday

I am thankful for:
1. Snow (more in the forecast for Saturday!)
2. Christmas Carols
3. A child's joy over Christmas lights
4. Something to sit down on (32 weeks 1 day, but who's counting?)
5. Christmas Cards (This is one of the few times of the year that you get mail from someone who actually cares about you. Thanks, Pappy!)
6. Caring superiors. The people I work for and with are so very considerate of my very enlarged state.
7. A steady income
8. Hot cocoa, with marshmallows.
9. Caffeine
10. Christmas time. It's my favorite holiday. Chilly crisp air, cinnamon candles, pretty lights, decorations, anticipation, special Church functions, Christmas cookies and candies......

1. The fact that I'm not a plumber! Eeewww!
2. A new toilet seat.
3. Blossoms, blossoms, everywhere.
4. The possibility of not being attached to a baby 24/7! (That's a little selfish, but it has been over four years.)
5. Beautiful weather

7. Superheros that stick around. The boys are getting Batman and Superman capes in their baskets.
8. Craftiness. I love giving homemade gifts.
9. The Last Supper in which we were given Communion.
10. Jesus Christ's enormous love for us. He suffered and died for you and me. Thanks be to God.

Thankful Thursday

1. John McCain - His lifetime of service to our country is... more than I can put into words. Thank you, Senator McCain.
2. Sarah Palin - She lives her beliefs. Thank you, Gov. Palin, for enduring the disgusting attacks you have in service of our country.
3. President George Bush - Thank you so much, Mr. President, for keeping us safe the past seven years, for making unpopular, yet necessary decisions, for sticking to your beliefs at the expensive our your approval rating. The history books will do you the honor that today's media will not.
4. Voting - I am thankful that I have a say in my country. I got up four hours before I normally would have to stand in line for 45 minutes to bubble in four bubbles. I stood up for my beliefs and my voice was heard. Little Ol' Me!
5. 4Real Forums - They are a wealth of knowledge on many subjects.
6. Four young, conservative Supreme Court Justices
7. Nov. 5 - The end of the election season.
8. Free money - That is what Obama promised , isn't it?
9. Political humor - Like this, or this.
10. Jan 20, 2012...
