actually that is the reason i don't homeschool. it is more important for my daughter to be a beacon of light to the world than to be protected from it.
It really is not that bad in public school. I promise. No we do not lead prayer anymore in school, this is true, but the reasons revolve around the different religions represented in our country. How do we make time so that we pray through everyone's religion? That is why we all have a mandatory moment of silence so that each may pray to their own. If anyone wants to pray at anytime we are not to deny them their right. There are classes of religion offered in schools for those who want to take them and lets not forget Catholic Private School where Mass is mandatory. Just something to think about.
