July 4th Celebration

We had quite an eventful 4th of July. We barbecued chicken and had fajita tacos. We hid in the basement due to a tornado warning. We decided not to brave the 500,000 people and the thought of a terrorist threat on the National Mall. So, we watched the DC fireworks from a safe distance, on the Francis Scott Key (that's the writer of the Star Spangled Banner, by the way) bridge. It was pretty cool to watch fireworks over the Washington Monument. How was your Fourth? What did you do?
