New Site

I added a website to the "Places I Frequent" in my sidebar. It is 4Real Forums. It is a great resource for all things, including but certainly not limited to house keeping, child rearing, cooking, Christianity, home educating, etc. It is a group of mostly ladies at all stages in life willing to give advice, answer questions, make book recommendations, or simply pray for you. It is a great group of friends of mine.

New Blog

I started a new blog called Dining With RamFam. It can be found here . It is a place that I can share what we're eating and hopefully get tips and recipes from you. Please go take a peek (although at this moment nothing is there) and leave comments.

Cherry Blossoms

On a whim we decided to go see the infamous cherry blossoms around the tidal basin near the National Mall. We were delighted to have the time with Pappy and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful views.




And the beautiful sunset we enjoyed as well.

Two boys were walking home from Sunday school after hearing a strong preaching on the devil. One said to the other, "What do you think about all this Satan stuff?" The other boy replied, "Well, you know how Santa Claus turned out. It's probably just your Dad." :)

Blossoms

I love spring! This is the tree in front of our house. The background collage is a collection of other blooms around our yard. The birds wake us every morning with their loud tweets and woo-woos. We have dove, robins, cardinals, blue jays, and others. What a beautiful time of year! What a great time to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord!

Maundy Thursday

Yesterday when I was pondering the celebration of the Last Supper, I was reminded of Christ washing the feet of the Apostles. His message was simple: To be king, you must serve; to be great, you must become small. Regrettably I didn't make it to Mass and wash the feet of my neighbor, but I did change about 8 poopy diapers. As a Mom, I am asked to belittle myself often. As America gives the notion that this is a bad thing, I look beyond that. Beyond this life, to the Mansion being prepared for me in the next life.
